Bored Tuesday

Tried to wake up early today - well, actually did wake up at about 7am today. But just couldn't lift my body up... ^.^;

So I ended up sleeping in again - rewoke up again at around 8:30am when my gf woke up 'cause we were suppose to support another SGI member with her chanting at our place. But for some reason I couldn't get up... ^.^; Slept again until about 9:30am or so.

I slugged my way around the house - brushed my teeth and parked myself in front of my computer and started to surf around on the internet while waiting for my gf to finish her breakfast. It was about 11am before we got to going to Victoria Market.

If you took a look at our fridge this morning, you'll find it very empty. It's like we were eating nothing but air in the last week or so. Absolutely no food! Well, there's the milk, wasabi paste, one green bell pepper, jam, butter and a jar of tom yum paste.

So this morning trip to Victoria Market was essential - to me, that is... after all my gf is like working every single night and she get's fed dinner AND supper. Me - all I can do is hope like hell at home that she'll bring home some left overs for me!! hahaha... lol... pathetic me... ^.^;

Halfway to the market my gf started walking sluggishly - she stopped and started rubbing her right calf before proceeding. Just near the market she really slowed down, after some probing she admitted that she was tired and her calf felt very sore. Apparently she overworked @ the restaurant.

Nearly got into an argument, 'cause I was trying to walk really fast - only to get her to a seat asap. After finding a seat for her, I went off looking for food to buy. Ended up only getting carrots, cucumber, tomatos, a head of lettuce, bunch of bananas, 5 Ya pears, and red onions. Apparently this is going to be my diet for this week.

At home, started to surf again and watched Zoids Chaotic Century until it was time for me to go to my regular Tuesday volunteer tutoring. I ended up getting there a bit early. Not many students showed up so spent most of the time helping the other tutor out or chatting to the other tutor.

Had an interesting dialogue with her (the other tutor) and realized that they were much older than me... about 30 years old or so. Said I was still a baby!!! ???

Oh well. *sigh*

I guess I'm doing alright 'cause both of them were saying that they were just starting to establish their career, but weren't too sure. I'm already feeling like that, so I guess I'm not that much of a late bloomer.

Talking about early bloomers, I saw an online profile that showed a 23 year old female, happily MARRIED!!??

People seem to be getting married earlier... my gf's friends are already either married or planning to marry soon. I've two friends already married with one to do so next year in October. And to top it off, I've people asking when I'm either going to get engaged or married to my gf. *cold sweat*

I'm only 24 years old!!! I don't have a stable job/career!!! Love can't keep me from starving!!!

Maybe I should just reply to them with that... "Love can't keep me from starving!"... lol...

Anyways, left the tutoring place today at around 6:45pm and got back home about 7:15pm or so. Found my housemate and another friend there trying to pack up her stuff. I stuffed around and finished my Zoids Chaotic Century episodes before finally going downstairs and making myself some instant noodles.

Came up stairs and started blogging.
