Long overdue update

Hehehe... just keeping up my tradition of not writing to this blog as often as possible. ^.^;

It's winter time now here in the little corner of the world. Was freezing this past week, just on Friday morning as I got out of the house I came upon a winter wonderland of frost covering the grass. First time I've seen frost to be honest... and they are predicting a snowy night on Monday. Can't wait to see it... ^.^

Anyways, my life has slowly deteriorated in the sense that my dried clothes were making another Mt. Everest in my living room. Suddenly I remembered this clothes-folding-jitsu video that me and a couple of my mates saw a while back when I was in uni. Did a quick search on Google (bless the makers!) and found it here. In a flash my mini Mt. Everest was as flat as Nhill country.

Past week was examinations for the Year 10 and Year 11 kids. Worked my butt off on Thursday to finish and submit my Year 7 classes report. Got Year 9 class due the coming Monday, Year 11 due Tuesday, Year 8 due Wednesday. *stress* *stress*

Marking my Year 11 kids exam takes so long, but what makes it worst is that I'm trying to adjust how I get to the overall semester average so that nobody fails. So far there are a few on the brink of failure... too much paperwork and hassle if somebody actually fails. *Sigh*

Been doing a combo-100 Day challenge with LY. The point is to chant 1 hour daimoku everyday for 100 days. The catch is that each of us must do it and if anyone of us breaks it, we'll BOTH have to restart it. Ever since I've started, I been feeling more hopeful and courageous. Added a few more determinations and work doesn't seem so pressurized. Got about two weeks more before school holidays, so I'll need to make the best of it - bring some high quality education. Already I've an educational action plan ready for next semester... but it's all in my head so need to put some concrete action into it.

Been reading the Human Revolution and finding the struggles of Toda very poignant and related to the struggles of SGIA today. Been able to seem more into his intentions and mind as I read it this time round (I've read it at least once cover to cover in the past; and a few volumes here and there when I was much, much younger).

The urge for me to read more books has awaken... but to find time is a challenge. I neglected to mark the exams last night to read the Human Revolution. Need some type of balance or ability to see the opportunity to read more.

Didn't go back to Melbourne this weekend. I think it's the first time I stayed back in the last 4-7 weeks. Funnily enough, this weekend fuel prices is at its lowest - doh!

Started to do some internal decorations of my car. Now it has a bit more 'character' ^.^

Okay, enough procrastinating, I need to get back to marking and report writing.
