I want pretty blog...

I've been thinking... in fact I've been doing a lot of that lately. I guess humans have tendency to think rather than act. And then I've seen little humans mindlessly accept rather than think - should I consider them to be human? hmmm....

Anyways, I've been thinking - quite hard - about why my blog isn't as pretty as other blogs. It's boring to look at and doesn't seem to have a bit of creativity within it. I'm jealous. I want a nice looking blog where people will come and visit often, just because it looks nice, despite the boring content.

Then I thought some more; Blogger sucks. I can't personalize my own blog so that it reflects the real me - instead I get to choose from generic templates.

And then I thought some more; I'm too lazy to migrate my blog. It is too much work to move to somewhere else that I can go crazy in customizing the appearance of my blog.

And that leaves me in a dilemma - to move or not to move?

Then I think again; why am I having this dilemma again? I can't be stuffed worrying about this - got things to do, places to see.

And we're back to square one. My blog looks boring.... LOL.... I was yawning as I typed this...

Went to service my car today in Kaniva. It's one of those one street town, but has two pretty big dealerships, a Toyota and a Holden. I find that funny because Nhill doesn't even have a dealership (well, not quite, there is one 'casual' car dealership). As I was waiting for it to be done, I popped into the local pub to kill off some time. As I was relaxing in the dining area, a bunch of teachers from the local school came in for their 'Schnitzel night'. I found that amusing because it was Thursday and I was going to go to my own Schnitzel night in Nhill. They started to have their 'meeting,' apparently one of them was going to leave and was going to treat her colleagues. Their conversation soon turned to how crappy working conditions were at school and rumors of infighting, etc, etc. And I'm sitting there eavesdropping (not on my own volition, mind you) and thinking, 'shit, I'm glad I'm not working there!'

And grateful I am for working at Nhill. It's a great place to be and I couldn't be in a better place!

Did a Google search of my name... funnily enough there's a profile on Amazon with exactly my first and last name. This person, apparently, is from the USA. Did a deeper search and found an article in the Education Times (March 2007 issue) with a list of appointments and my name was in it! Yay! ^.^;

Ok enough silliness... I have to get back to reality and start being serious and mark my student's work *sigh* I feel like a Warcraft Peon... "work, work!"
