Gohonzon
I've received my household Gohonzon on Sunday and enshrined it.
Dickson and Pei drove up with me Sunday afternoon and had a short and simple enshrinement ceremony. It felt a bit surreal, because all of a sudden, I have my very own Gohonzon. Wow...
Anyways, before that I did my experience during the kosen-rufu meeting at the SGIA centre and I thought my experience was a bit normal. But seems like a few people liked it. Maybe I'll post it up here if there is some 'demand' for it... ^.^
After the enshrinement ceremony we walked down to town to have dinner, but apparently the restaurants are closed on Sundays... :(
So we ended up driving down to Horsham and eating at Toy's Chinese Restaurant. And it wasn't bad at all. Had Sweet & Sour Chicken, Seasonal Vege's & Mushroom, and a Roast Pork with Beancurds. Yum!
Was falling sick on that day, and followed Dickson's advice of lemon & honey in warm water.... >.< sour as heck! But felt much better on Monday. Went to the pharmacy to get some cold tablets - the 'night' tablets almost immediately conked me out... woke up feeling much better. The day tablets I took this morning gave me the shakes... talk about being drugged up and teaching. Hehehe... luckily I had the wisdom to do very little in class but mainly engaged them about horse racing and working out their bets and payouts.
Really need to get prepared for next week. Would be missing the first three days with the Year 7 camp at Port Fairy. But from what I heard recently it has been flooded by the massive influx of rain. Hopefully it'll be alright for the camp by then.
Still a bit behind with my VIT registration process - trying to finish it and get it over with by this week (tomorrow fingers crossed).
Sigh... will need to work harder tonight - but I want to rest up and be well for the camp!
