"Why do you practise this [Nichiren Daishonin's] Buddhism?"

"Why do you practise this Buddhism?" It was a simple question ET put out during the small group meeting session.

This I heard:

'Ask your self this; this practise is a wonderful practise. You may (in fact, can) gain wealth, health and fame with this practise, but compare to the TRUE potential of this practise, all those things are NOTHING.

However, if you want to seek the deep inherent thing within yourself that you want to change... the thing that is holding you back from achieving what you want; inhibiting yourself from achieving your dream/vision/goal... then this practise will put you on a great path/a great and unforgettable journey to (& with) joy.

What is the inherent darkness that inhibits you from getting what you want??'

Only by putting faith, study and especially practise at the forefront of your life will you be able to find the answer... realize the answer to the above question.

By chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo... that is the key.

P.S. The link is a selfish self-promotion to my Buddhist related website I made ^.^
