Back... finally

Wow!
How long has it been? It's really late at night (1:45 am) and for some reason; either out of whim or guilt, I decided to log in and write in my blog.

For some reason, in the last few days since Sunday (20/03/2005) I had Eiko-san at the back of my mind. The words "Kansai spirit" seem to reverberate in my head...

As I recall my conversation with Eiko-san, Michiaki-san, Carol and Lee Yoong about what exactly is the Kansai spirit, I remember Michiaki concluding that it is how we view our distance/closeness of Sensei.

I could see what he meant, especially in Eiko's actions and chanting. Wow... her daimoku was electrifying to me. For some reason, when I did morning & evening gongyo with her I was at ease. It was one of those things that stuck with me, especially when doing evening gongyo with my small group @ Tirthi's place. I felt something was missing... and then it hit me! I realized how it was so important to have that standalone soka spirit - what it mean to have the Kansai spirit and what it means to be close to sensei...

It was my eureka moment... ^.^

Anyways, I also had redone the Sunny Yarra-Yarra website recently (about a week or so ago) and got it a nice domain name. Come and visit it at http://www.sunnyyarrayarra.co.nr/
