hmmm... Scientific evidence that meditation/chanting works??

According to Buddhism, there are 'six paramitas' or six practices for Mahayana bodhisattvas in their progress toward Buddhahood. One of them is 'meditation.' The meditation referred to in the article is not exactly as what the 'six paramitas' meditation mean... in fact what meditation means in terms of the Lotus Sutra/Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism is 'having clear goals/objective/ideal based on human philosophy of life' And to be able to be calm and concentrate on such goals.

In a sense, the 'traditional' meaning of meditation referred to in the article below has elements similar to what is defined as 'meditation' in N.D. buddhism. By logic, the conclusion from the article applies as well. Which brings me to an interesting point... now we have scientific evidence that says 'meditation' may as well 'purify our senses.'

But then again, we can imply many things but whether it's a logical fallacy or not.... hmmm...

Well, let's just say that Buddhist practices actually makes sense and does have physical influences to our wellbeing - scientifically documented.
