LY Countdown - 15 days to go ^.^
15 days more to go before the love of my life rejoins my life again.
Talked to my sister on the webcam using MSN last night. Had a good view of her 'fur-kids' and did some catching up. I never really was close to my family - they were just, family. It's not that I hate them or that I don't love them; in fact I do love them - they are, family. Maybe it's the different way I was raised compared to my other siblings.
I guess my sister is the closest to me, but even then there are times that we don't see things in each other eyes - however I'll have to say whether she agrees or not to my views, I can be sure that she does understand where I'm coming from...
Had a very eventful, yet simple day today. Woke up quite early and had a chanting session @ home with another member who dropped by... I find great joy in supporting others in their practice of Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism; it's not the type of narcissistic joy, instead it's more like the joy of given the opportunity to grow and develop because of supporting them. I guess I feel more gratitude for them, because they encourage me more to continue my practice (despite them coming over seeking for support).
Anyways, after the chanting session, me and my housemate mucked about doing our own stuff for a while as we waited for the rain to stop. We wanted to go to the market together without the rain pouring on top of us. At the market we had a little walk-about and grabbed what we thought we needed... and then all of the sudden I realized that I might have gotten too much food. Oh well...
Came home and started to watch anime... and I couldn't stop. Then started chatting to my housemate via MSN, even though she's in the next room! ^.^ Somehow ended up promising to cook tonight's dinner as a reward for her working hard on her thesis... hmmm... I guess I'm easily manipulated... haha...
Anyways, just before cooking dinner we went out again to buy some cookies, Tom Yam pasted, bread and tomato paste. Came home and cooked like mad.
I cooked tomato eggs and stir fry kangkung in belacan... mmm.... yummy..... and now I'm sitting in front of my computer with a bloated stomach, blogging away.
So that's it for today!! Until next time...
