1 week in KL

Wow... my last post seemed incomplete... well, I haven't been able to update on what happen in the last week that I arrived in KL. Here's a short summary:

1> Upon landing, went through customs quite fast... I used my e-passport and in less than a minute I'm past immigration and on to the baggage area. Had to wait about 10 minutes just to have my luggage come out... grrr... Anyways, once out in the airport, my sister, her husband and my mom picked me up in their Hyundai Getz. And off we went to the immigration department to renew my passport. Waited the whole day just to process the passport and I had to pick it up tomorrow. And that was my first day in KL (well, I did go have a simple dinner).

2> Don't remember what happened on the second, third, or 4th day, but all I did remember about last week is that I went to the local Soka Gakkai centre in Cheras to buy books! And ended up finding out that they don't really have the 'old' stuff in stock. So ended up buying tons of the New Human Revolution booklet series to complete the Elsternwick SGIA library. Also got myself a small omamori gohonzon stand ^.^

Oh yes, last week I also went to get myself a new set of glasses... ended getting a Ray-Ban plastic type. Apparently it makes me look 'cool'... don't know why 'cause it looks like those geeky/nerdy Clark Kent style of glasses.

3> Spent most of last week clashing heads w/ my mother... sigh! that's another story.

4> My aunties place got broken into today. Apparently they went straight for her personal safe. All other things were not touched, except for her main bedroom cabinet and safe. Seems like the perp knows the family. Got a neighbor who witnessed it and said 1 chinese and 1 Malay broken into the place, driving a dark green Proton Wira. There's a license plate number, but I don't have it with me right now... but will update it here when I get it... so anybody in Malaysia, please have a look out for the car and report it to the Cheras Police station. Thank you! ^.^

So that's my eventful week. Didn't really do much but shop around for the stuff I need to bring back. I still need to go meet LY's family to pass them their stuff but I already gave her mother a call and should be doing so sometime this week.

Don't know when I'll be able to blog 'cause of crappy 'broadband' connection my sis has... Streamyx sucks big time... apparently they are upgrading the network in Cheras.... for the last 6 months. Funny incident when my sis called tech support. They answer the phone quickly, but they're pretty much useless 'cause they don't know what the hell they are doing! My sister asked if they can find out why the connection is so shoddy, and all they can advise is to get her to check if the modem is on autodial and if she doesn't know how to do that, bring the com to a shop to let them do it! (Idiots, my sis knows how to do it). What does that have to do with the quality of the connection???!!

Ok, I'll have pray real hard so that this will be posted up.

*fingers crossed*
