Pulau Pinang

Hopped on to a bus today from KL Pudu station and went to Pulau Pinang / Penang with my dad. To the 'super express' bus, Consortium... didn't even stop for the whole trip except for a toilet break just after the first Ipoh toll station. Felt really hungry for most of the trip 'cause I didn't have anything to eat (or to buy to eat for that matter) since breakfast.

Arrived in Penang around 4:30pm and got picked up by my cousin. Took us to her family's apartment... somewhere... hehehe... had to go through a mountain to get there. I'm typing this on her iBook G4 on the 16th floor of the apartment building.

Had one of the greatest dinner tonight... fried oysters, char kwei teow, poh piah, rojak and sugar cane drink. Yummy! It seems that Malaysia is known only as a land of great food to me.

My dad has already booked tickets to go to Bangkok at the end of this week... so I'm really looking forward to the trip and seeing stuff. The problem is that I've only packed lightly so I'm not sure if I have proper luggage to carry stuff back from there! ^.^;

Tomorrow will be another adventure... plan is to go to some island for a little hike/trek. Hopefully I can show some pictures in my next posts.
