^.^ Monkey! ^.^

Just a little clip of a Monkey jumping through a flaming hoop @ the crocodile farm in Thailand.

Funny thing was that my sister expressed her horror/pity for the monkey; as if it was animal abuse. In a way, I kinda have to agree with her, but I'm sure (me as an eternal optimist) that the monkey is being treated well... I hope... ??

Makes me wonder, are human beings all selfish? Afterall we treat other living beings as 'below us.' Doesn't buddhism see all living creatures as an expression of the entity 'life'? Then why do we treat them as if they aren't?

I must admit that when I see a cockcroach I would prefer to crush their puny bodies asap... but I try to 'scare' them or push them outside. But usually they turn around and charge at me... usually I would be squealing like a little girl and hiding in the corner by then.

Ummm... did I just say that? oops.. ehhh... ehem.. ok ya... treating others badly is bad.
