Overnight in Traralgon
Came back from the trip to Traralgon yesterday afternoon. It was a very relaxing and well fed trip ^.^
We visited Eiko who had offered me a feed if I get a job - but my intention was to home-visit her as I find her spirit of mentor-disciple and standalone spirit admirable. The afternoon and evening with her was filled with conversation and great feed!
We took Sot along and she was happy with all the green grass in Traralgon! ^.^ (You can read about her here)
Back to Eiko, it is so amazing when you hear about kosen-rufu experiences from senior members. I'm glad I truly treasure all the pioneer members. Eiko mentioned that we were all welcome to visit her and to think of her as 'grandma'... I feel the same too.
Since I've come to Australia, I've never really been homesick... because of my strong connection to SGI, I've come across countless brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers and now I also have someone to be considered as my grandma.
Here's to Eiko, my kosen-rufu grandma in Australia!
