Saying goodbyes

It's 7:27am on a Wednesday right now. I'm waiting for the bathroom to be available so I can get ready to go to Traralgon to visit Eiko... ^.^

She's a pioneer member who offered to feed me a good meal if I get a job. And her food IS yummy... ^.^ I'm a sucker for that... food... good food... mmmmm... foooooood.... *Homer mode on... drools...*

Anyways, me and LY would be taking a 3-4 hour train ride out of Melbourne to Traralgon costs us altogether about $51 (return). I have concession, so my ticket was $19.90 ... yay for health care cards!!!

Asked the Vline people about the service to Nhill when I got my Traralgon tickets... apparently from the time table, there is only 2 services to get to Melbourne on weekdays, but only one on weekends. From Melbourne to Nhill it is 2 services all week (once in the morning and once in the evening).

It's 3 of January today and I feel like I haven't really accomplish much. Things I really need to do is start packing and seeing how much I want to bring to determine if I need a removalist or make a few trips to Nhill.

So far I've been to a party on the 30th of December last year (woaahh... trippy... I always find it wierd to say last year when last year is only about a few days ago) and held a small get together at my place on the 31st with some friends to watch the city fireworks on a vantage point at the corner of my street. Had a New Years gongyo at the kaikan on New Years Day (we even telecast live from the Main Hall to the Basement to accommodate more people comfortably... awesome!!).

Then me and LY just crashed on that day; slept all afternoon and woke up at around 9pm... that really messed with our body clocks.... didn't even sleep until about 4 or 5 am. But funnily enough we woke up about 4 hours later. Felt fresh as ever yesterday and popped out to the city to do some random shopping/sightseeing. It was exceptionally quiet... but got crowded around 5pm when people got off work. Stores were closed by 6pm and LY was complaining about it... she didn't want to go home. Anyways, Suez - my neighbor is moving out in the sticks in NSW, so she was unpacking yesterday with Claudia. We had a simple going away party with pizza and salads for both of us.

I'm gonna miss everyone here in Melbourne - but I guess change means challenges and opportunities.

I just searched Nhill, and it cant be that bad. There is a Comfort Inn! And there are National Parks, so if you like nature, it should be beautiful. I'm thinking it will be a good move for you. And you can always go back to Melbourne on the train on the weekends. The best of both worlds.
