Potato Watch Day 01

Didn't have to go teach today because it was 'report writing' day. Managed to get the bulk of the hard stuff out of the way.

Came back home tired and a bit sick... I think I caught a cold. But because it wasn't hot outside, I thought I better throw those potatoes that I bought that started growing roots, into the ground and see if they grow.

So in a quick 20 minute digging in the front yard I managed to plant in about 15 potatoes. And it was strangely satisfying.

Now, apparently I can see some type of result by the beginning of next year. But I have my doubts. I don't think anything I've tried growing, ever grew successfully.

So I'm going to keep a daily potato watch. Today is Day 01 and it's just a pile of dirt. I wonder if I can see the buds itself within a week... hmmm...
